The Centre for Science and Environment is India’s leading public interest research institution, known for its rigorous scientific, policy research and advocacy on environmental issues. The Industry and Environment unit is looking for Programme Officers and Senior Research Associate to work for its Regulators Team.
Job Profile:
The candidates will be involved in research, training and capacity building of environmental regulators all across the country, South Asia and Africa.. The job will also entail research, reporting, writing policy papers on regulatory regimes in the country. The work will involve travel in India and a few countries in Asia and Africa. Knowledge of EIA, SIA preferred.
Necessary Skills:
Strong research and analytical skills and a good technical and report writing experience.
The candidate should be able to network and have good oral communication skills.
Self-motivation and disciplined work ethics will be vitally important for the job.
Qualification:
Candidates with bachelors or a Masters degree in environmental engineering or environment science with 3-5 years of work experience may apply.
