As part of its endeavour to provide exposure to different aspects of environment and allied domains, the student fraternity of Indian institute of forest management (IIFM) started “climate change and environmental core competency cell”. The climate change and environmental core competency cell (C2-E-C3) was incepted in the Students and Alumni Affairs Council, IIFM in the year 2008. Cell recognizes the world wide growing concerns due to global climate change.
C2-E-C3 stands with a vision to create an opportunity to leverage on the intellectual capital of leaders, domain experts, and IIFM alumni who have created new benchmarks in management towards sustainability. The cell works on increasing public awareness and education around issues of climate change and to promote individual and institutional efforts to reduce the human impact of climate change. So basically this is an initiative of students of Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal under which we conduct a lot of events and campaign related to environment and climate change...Apart from that we conduct our traditional Enviro Conclave annually..

Recently , Her eccellency, our president Madam has rightly had given her visionary statement that the lack of IEL is a bottleneck problem in handling the environmental concerns.
