Dear IEN Members,

Please welcome Swathi Karamcheti as the first dedicated community organizer of Indian Environment Network. Swathi will work as Adviser, Community and Partnerships for our network which has now members from 1300+ organizations from across the world. We are proud of our association at Paryavaran.com and it is now for you to take the first step forward to make it a Gateway to the world for developing the Indian Environment Markets.

Swathi Karamcheti is an enthusiastic environmentalist who is aiming at changing the face of News. Since childhood, Swathi has been a leader and a winner in academics. An MPhil graduate from a reputed Business School in India and a Silver Medalist, her ambition has been clear and has been successful in achieving every goal.  She was chosen as a young leader by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) twice and represented her nation, India, in various conferences and seminars. She is a writer, producer, onscreen presenter and an orator, who is confident about what she does. People call her a walking encyclopedia and a knowledge sharer. She was always rewarded with promotions and incentives at her work place and is still applauded by the organization she worked for. She is looking forward to bring awareness in the world through her programs and promos, writings and campaigns.

There are six areas that Swathi will work as a priority:

  1. Partnering with your organization as an Institutional Member of IEN so that we can make IEN an online trade show platform for showcasing your amazing work in the environment sector and products and services to our members and to the world market. Check our institutional membership benefits at http://www.paryavaran.com/page/paryavarancom-institutional . Since Indian Environment Network is based out of Washington DC area, we can as well become your international representative and the biggest champion of your work internationally.
  2. Developing and managing a dedicated team of volunteers, interns, researchers, writers and bloggers for Paryavaran.com that can share the outstanding work that is being done in the environment sector and provide much needed experience and knowledge base for our sector. Connect with her if you would like to volunteer in any specific field and benefit from the amazing exposure that you will get for building your resume or showcasing your work.
  3. Selecting and coordinating local Paryavaran.com ambassadors who can host local group meetings in every nook and corner of India and the world including educational institutions and share offline all our online experiences. It would be exciting if this can lead to an annual Paryavaran.com Camps in India and in the US where we can all meet together once a year for connecting, networking and skills development.
  4. Hosting regular online training sessions and Global learning tours for professionals and students that will equip them with marketable skills and knowledge. If you or your organization can conduct training as experts or need training then you are welcome to contact her. Also, let her know the kind of training you seek to market yourself better.
  5. Connecting you to the job and consultancy market by working with our institutional members to seek the best possible placements for your expertize.
  6. Hosting interviews with the pioneers in our industry so that we can get benefitted from their wisdom and also showcase their work. Connect with her if you would like to be interviewed for your work or suggest people that we should interview.

This is just a start and we should all work together to fulfill our dream to make environment sector in India the best sought after market and profession in the world. We need your institutional and personal support to make this happen! Let us know your ideas. You can connect with Swathi  at http://www.paryavaran.com/profile/Swathi . • Welcome to Paryavaran Swathi!

Do let me know if I can contribute not only to generating awareness about the physiological & psychological damage ambient occupational noise causes to workforce health , but also of making administrative blocks aware that viable interventions do exist, by which this impact can be kept to the minimum.
