AAQ MONITORING IN POWER PLANT

Dear IENs Good Morning What would be criteria and Frequency for AAQ Monitoring in Power Plant.As in our EC it has been mentioned the it shall be moniored regularly but regularly means what ,should we follow the NAAQ 2009

    ya u can have 8 hr monitoring in a 24 hrs duration.

    The minimum hours of sampling shall be more than 16hr as per teh CPCB. So make sure you do monitor more than 16 hr in case if any probloms like power failure.

    Frequency and nos. of stations are generally decided based on pollution potential of the industry. there must be indication of frequency in the Consent granted by the State pollution control Board under Air Act.IF it s not there, then frequency may be considered as "quartely". Generally, SPCB is asking for Environment monitoring of the industry on quartely base.,thanks..
