Traditional Cap of Nishi

Nishis bejewelled their headgears with pairs of the tail feathers of Large Racket-tailed Drongo and/ or Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo. Nishis confide their love to Rofous-nacket Hornbill by bejewelling its beak in their traditional caps. This bird species is included in the IUCN Red Data List.
