  • To me it looks like there is a great opportunity to put up a caustic recovery plant....and return caustic to the textile guys around it...

  • This is regarding the photograph of Luni river. Seems the River has lots of dissolved salts in the water  as also it's name suggests, or is it because of dried plant material after the water in the channel has evaporated?

  • Our creation of miseries...more disasters are expected

  • we are just the qualified fools, we know everything but can't do a thing.......if the people and the concerned authorities still does not rise from their slumber sleep then the nature will take the charge and sounds alarm in the name of calamities........

  • Its happening in all over Rajasthan. Its not new because when Mr. Ashok Ghelot sworn on Rajasthan, one drought always come in his of 5 year  period because its attached with his name A- Akal, S- Shok and K- Kal. or you can say weather al-neno effect.

  • irony is that the industries such as textiles which are endangering the environment are the beneficiaries of subsidies by the central and state governments in the name of support....what a pity...

  • Yup ... Sad but not surprised ... this is going to be fate of other rivers also, if we could not able to take corrective measures within the time ... afterwards only option to deprived of such valuable resources where our culture grown ...

  • If industries not able to realize the cost of retrieving the original environmental condition of the natural attributes, the industries pollution and degradation will prevail over the nature.

  • Good effort to show the real situation of environment in India. There are many such cases, we are not able to conserve the environment because of the reason stated.

  • thanks for the comments..regret that the attitude prevailing is..i would rather shut shop but not treat waste water....coz it costs....input water is free from bore hole....while solutions...technologies are at hand..the will is absent....equal blame is on the processors and the government as no one is bothered..just by banning dying cannot be a solution...they take their process to another part and spoil that atmosphere....well life is like that...
