Academic Programs:
Doctoral Program
TERI University currently offeres doctoral programmes in the following broad thematic areas: Energy and Environment,Regulatory and Policy studies, Bioresources and Biotechnology and Natural Resources. The programmes include rigorous course work whose duration could vary from 12 to 18 months. On completion of the coursework and a comprehensive examination, candidates are formally admitted to the PhD programme.
Master's Program:
The University offers Master's level programmes in Infrastructure, Business Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management, Water Resources Management, Geoinformatics, Plant Biotechnology, Climate Science and Policy, Economics, Renewable Energy Engineering and Management and Public Policy and Sustainable Development. Details of eligibility criteria and the selection procedure have been provided separately under the relevant programme head.
All Master's - level programmes are two-year programmes but credit requirements vary.
Pedagogical tools comprise classroom lectures, case studies, quizzes, term papers, assignments and tests, field visits, a large number of guest lectures by practitioners and experts, seminars and discussion forums and role play.
Diploma Programs
Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Regulations in Agricultural Biotechnology
The Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Regulations in Agricultural Biotechnology is being offered to candidates with an academic background in the sciences or humanities as well as mid-career civil servants and corporate employees sponsored by their respective employers.
