The Knowledge Portal on solid waste and waste water management named as India Waste Management Portal was developed by Centre for Environment Development as part of the CoE of the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India. It was launched by Dr. S.K. Khanduri IFS, Director, Environment Management Agency, Kerala on 24th June 2010.
