Rina Mukherji is an eminent journalist from India, reporting primarily on Environmental issues. She has been a prominent Environmental journalist and is credited for projects including SACOSAN IV (the South Asian Conference on Sanitation) from Colombo (2011); Women Deliver Conference held in Washington (2010); United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) symposium held in Nouakchott, Mauritania in October (2009); 11th International Coral Reef Symposium in held at Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2008); Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) from Barcelona, Spain (2008) and many. A PhD graduate in African Studies , Rina, has been instrumental in science and environmental reporting and is very active in many forums and groups. She is also a Member of Research and Media Network, Member of the Biodiversity Media Alliance, IFEJ (Indian Federation of Environment Journalists), Network of Women and Media in India (NWMI), Fellow of the Centre for International Strategic and Development Studies (CISDS). Rina has received many notable awards and achievements for her contribution.
