Searching for a job in India as a Environmental Manager.

Hello everyone..Iam Rahul, searching for a job in India in environmental sector, but iam not getting any proper response from the organisations i have applied so far, i did my M.Sc in water & Environmental Management from UK, & i have 1 years of experience in Environmental field that to in UK not in India.

    I have worked for the past four years as an Environmental H & S consultant. In that position, i worked with several different staff members. Through this interaction, i have realized the value of Safety policies and legislations. I would welcome the chance to apply the skills and knowledge i have gained to a position. 

    Having experience in following activities:

    Construction Safety, HSE Training, Safety Auditing, Preparation of DMP & EMP, Implementation of EMS -ISO 14001, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessments, Process Safety, Safety Laws, Hazardous Area Classification, Safety Committee

    Having experience in following Modules:

    Corporate social responsibility, Ecology, Conservation, Water Resources, Integrated Waste Pollution Management, Environmental Policy and Governance, Environmental Management Tools and Methods, Management Skills for Environmental Managers, Foundations in Auditing, Sustainability and Environmental Systems.

    Hi rahul,

              Its like if you are applying for thousand companies only ten to twenty will reply,tat to depends on your luck. So , to get a ticket inside the professional environment sector u need to start from the base- even a consultancy would do it,join a consultancy as soon as possible without loosing time and from there you will get more contacts and vacancy details rather than anywhere else,step by step u can enter the competititve world of environmentalist,...and its easy to get in EIA,CDM consultants with your qualification..

    Plan B is to do PhD in BHU,Teri ,neeri etc....

    Yes i know that, i don't have that much exp.. but iam looking for any kind of job in environmental sector & that to in India.

    i think One should need at least 10 years of experiance to work as EM.
