The theme this year is "Environmental & Climate Literacy" !
The "Earth Day Network" is launching an ambitious campaign with the aim of "achieving global climate and environmental literacy" by Earth Day 2020.
Education is the foundation of all progress. To combat the impact of Climate Change worldwide, it's become necessary to empower everyone with the knowledge of Environmental Conservation. The ultimate plan is to "build a global citizenry, which is fluent in the concepts of climate change, and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet."
