These days, it is important to comply with conditions of Central ground Water Board. One of the compliance is to measure water table. Either you install a piezometer or follow a simple method to measure ground water table.

Mr. Moinuddin, yes. It is the most simple technique. Where there is option available such as installing a piezometer and even you have to measure the ground water with perfection; this method could be adopted. You can easily install a piezometer to existing and operational bore well. These days, portable piezometers are also available. You better contact some of the manufacturers with details of your bore well.
