A National Workshop of the Indian Network for Climate Change Assessment (INCCA) was held today. It was attended by over 82 scientists and chaired by the Minister for Environment & Forests. A Report - India's GHG Emissions 2007 - was released by Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia. India has become the first developing country to publish such updated numbers.
