As i have observed in many cases Trees have been cutting and Removing like any thing (in the name of Development & civilisation)when ever any new project/work starts the first kind of work is to cut trees.insteaded of cutting cant we shift them for the corners of the site/ planning sholud be in a way that the minimal no of trees has been cut.
one law must be enforced for protection of trees
we all should encourage for Green development which is sustainable.
how best we can solve this issue?

Shown a good concern regarding protection of trees. But law enforcement can resolve the problem. Can we put some good habit of growing trees by strictly enforcing a law. No i don't think that would help but may increase the way of cutting trees in a different manner as if like enforcing a cell like Anti Corruption Bureau has increased corruption in a different way which has increased atleast 2 folds. Rather this should be made a habit in the little children, encouraing them to plant trees on their names make them nurture so that they develop curiosity to see when their plants give flower and when their plant gives fruit.
i would like to put a practical thing which occured to me. You know my son Vamsi two year back we told him about the mango tree how it grows and gives fruit to us so he planted mango seed and he used to see daily whether it has started growing or not. one good morning he rushed to me with a very very happy mood that mango tree is sprouting. we all were happy about that and also at his happiness. there onwards every day he used to talk to that tree as a friend he used to share his school matters and so on. For a weeks time he went to his grandfathers house and unfortunately a bandicoot has uprooted the small budding tree. May be i was disturbed but not sure whether i was really upset or not. when my son came back. He immediately rushed to see his small plant found that there was no plant and started weeping like anything. It was very hard to keep him calm may be i still remember even my eyes were wet at that time. Then i understood we after growing up loose don't feel as much as the little children. Their love towards nature is far beyond our expectations. That was the first time i approached the principal of the school where my son was studying LKG. Talked to her and with her coordination we planted 1 sapling for three children (due to space constraint). Named the sapling with the childs name. Many parents objected for this but we convinced them that their children will not do any labour work but only take care of their little plants as their friends. Till date the principal of that school calls me saying that the children who left the school (its only a primary school upto UKG only) stil.l comes along with their parents and enjoy their plants with flowers. May be this attitude has to be build in children because they are the future generations. since most of us including me only take or discuss things but when it comes to action a person needs to be mentally very strong and should have strong will and commitment

Rather, should we not think of conservation of critical habitats, integration of green infrastructure concepts in urban development and a culture of attachment with trees... something that will allow people to grow trees, harvest produce, and even cull when necessary... should we not trust ourselves to be mature and take the right decisions where necessary, rather than depend on 'sarkar mai-baap' to set the rules??

Do the trees have any role in vote banking....??????? Definitely answer will be no... then why they are required.
Now, let's take others side. Such projects are made to attract the vote banks on the name of development and surely, attarcts all of us (the voters). If we all voters, decide to stop futher degrading the environment, stop felling trees and put check on such activities which irreversibly harming Mother Nature...... See the miracle...
Many of the people will argue that this will stop the development of the region/ nation. But we have to ask them that for whom we are developing at this cost.
I will give one example from NH 76 (from Udaipur to Abu Road). Once I use to travel on my motorbike to explore the green valleys on this road. The up-down valleys and the chain of hilloks attarct any of the person especially when we pass in monsoon time. Lush green valleys and small water falls are enough to praise.....
But now, we got smooth good 4-lane road, indigenous vegetation removed and brought up the invaders and the species which usually found in the urban areas......
With this great development, I also developed and now, I am not using motorbike, but the four wheelers with closed windows...... what to observe, where to go........ just move on the smooth road straight way to Abu Hills....
So Abdul ji, trees have to involved in our voting system to make their way in this fast developing era....
