You may be interested in a new initiative by the North Australian Indigenous Land and Sea Management Alliance that is developing new tools to support Indigenous management of land and sea country – including formally designated Indigenous Protected Areas.I-Tracker uses the renowned and free Cyber Tracker software (www.cybertracker..org) on rugged handheld PDAs. It provides for electronic user friendly, customisable data collection in the field and data download and management and GIS analysis capacity in the office.
