    lots of topics in environmental field.. choose a advanced treatment methods , search in science direct journals,cpcb journals ,iwwa, international water works association journals, eco sanitation is also a very good topic to take, you will find lots of interesting topics. you 1st choose a topic then institute for research work to carry on.

    You can plan to do research in the field of climate change, ecotourism, solid waste management, water pollution,e-waste, plastic waste, EIA and many more. Best institute in the field of environment are NEERI, IIFM,IISER,TERI etc.

    You can think of a good guide, good topic and institute with good research administration. Look into international journals for consistent publications from researchers, and contact some body who has been consistently publishing in the area of your interest. Take enough time to identify a guide and topic. Choose a place where course work is mandatory, if you are planning to get a Ph.D.

    firstly u have to clear ur view what actually u want to do, in which stream u like to enter bcaz Env. subject is multidimensional.

    Then u can try for Research work @ TERI/ ITRC/ NBRI/ NEERI/ IITs/ & MANY MORE

    NEERI, ITRI, IICT, TERI, EPTERI, FRI are some good institutes. Now the hot topics with good market are related with disaster risk management, climate-change management, e-waste, resource recycling and recovery. Emergency water,food quality, and EIA also is growing market.
