Ash residues contaminated with heavy metals

Ash management

Water Consumption & Aquatic Habitat Alteration

Cooling system – once through, closed circuit wet cooling and dry cooling

Receiving surface waters

Impact on aquatic organisms

Competing with other users

May I add some more issues to this list?

-SPM, RPM, NOX, SO2!

-some trendy issues often linked to thermal power plants are GHG, carbon emission/footprint, global warming etc.
