India- State of the Forest Report 2009

The Indian State of the Forest Report 2009 report was recently published by Forest Survey of India.     Thanks Dr. Parul for the corrrection. Do share your insights about the report and its methodology and whether you are optimisitc that our forest cover will keep on increasing.

    I would like to make one correction it is not the Indian State of Environment Report 2009.Its actually State of Forest Report 2009 and the whole work is done biennially by Forest Survey of India with its headquarter at Dehradun. I was also the part of this report and this organisation till October 31st, 2009.
