ENVITRANS® has come forward with pollution rose & wind rose software - pavanaarekh v2. The current release is featured to plot pollution/concentration rose besides wind rose diagram. The pavanaarekh is very customizable application. It not only supports for several meteorological data formats but also provide interface for manual data entry. This feature may enable you to plot wind-rose from a distribution frequency table as available in "Climatological Table" of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Application 

Wind roses and pollution roses are the important tool of air pollution analysis and management. The wind rose diagrams helps in illustrating the predominant wind direction or sector. This information is used in defining air quality monitoring network. The pollution/concentration rose diagrams show the distribution of pollutant concentrations by directions. Thus helps in locating the probable source of pollution contributing at the monitoring location or receptor.
