"The activities of borrowing/excavation of brick earth and ordinary earth, up to an area less than 5 hectares may be categorised under B2 category" — a category that does not require prior environmental clearance under the Environment Impact Assessment notification of 2006.

  • Hi Irfan, Shailesh Gamit here from baroda,gujarat.....the real estate projects which falls between 20000 sq.mt to 150000 sq. mt,they have to take EC from the state level environment appraisal committee and the township projects more than 150000 sq.mt,they have to take EC from MOEF,Delhi...state level EC doesnt require Public Hearing and EIA Study...

    Please refer S.O. 1253 (E) dated December 20, 1999, "Automobile servicing and repairs stations" are under Orange category and there are certain compliance requirements which you may find within the SO.
