Job Enquiry

Hi, I am a fresher in environmental field with a MBA Environmental management degree. I have applied for many jobs posted in different career portals, all I could understand from my experience that there is no opening for freshers. Minimum one year is a prerequisite to apply for any kind of jobs. It will be of great help if someone come forward to lighten up my career path.

    Dear Abhijeet, I ll take your advice. Can you please tell me what sort of IT or mgmt course works for environmental jobs currently?

    Moreover, I like to endevour in this field if you have anything in your mind, do share with me.

    dear, This is award winning field not money making. I have 9 years experience with professional diplomas but no use

    Do something related to IT or Management.

    The companies prefer BE mechanical chemical or Computer to work in our field but wount take you.

    I f you are the sole earner of ur family then its an advice to think that quickly move out of this field or repent

    one jobless environmentalist

    Hi Ashutosh.

    Since you have experince, keep trying surely you ll get a good job. I'm a fresher wit lil ground knowldge about the field and no experience also. All you need to do is, take some short term certification courses in the desired work field.

    I'm planning to do EMS or Industrial safety as early I could, becoz its better to learn something new for a better career. Never convince yourself that there is no job, confidently probe.

    Praveen Bhai, I am also facing same problem, but the difference is that I have more than 4 year of working experience in the field of environment education and sustainable development as a Project Officer (Please go through my profile on INDIAN ENVIRONMENT NETWORK), but after resigning from my previous organization in November 2011, till date i have not got any opportunity in this field. Sometime I feel I have chosen a wrong field.

    Please suggest me. What to do further?
