This plant grows wild all over India and is considered nuisense since its fruits sticks to cloths or hair of animals etc. It does not have any demand as food and in normal belief it is useless. Gokhur according to Ayurved and Unani is considered highly medicinal particularly in respect of geneto urinary diseases. Its extract is powerful enough to drive out stone in kidney thus surgery can be avoided. But in normal planning being considered useless it is being destroyed in favor of commercial plants. We must stop this attempt and hed.save it. Its virtues must be popularized. My article on Gokhur is attac
