We are losing so many trees in Indian cities..it's time to plant more instead of losing them to ad-hoc, unplanned development. What are your thoughts?

I have read the article "The Science of Tree Shade" it is very good, our planners should give similar importance for trees to conserve our natural resources.

All educated persons should encourage and help all organisations who are working in planting trees in one way or other.

Great post! Thank you for sharing. I cannot help thinking how many research studies that one article referred to. In contrast, I doubt we have had the benefit of any one conducting any such studies in India. Unfortunate, but true. I don't think the majority of people realize what exactly they are losing out on without trees.
