Please suggest me some technology which can remove TDS as high as 200000 mg/L. Is there any technology available? Your input will be highly appreciable.
Thanks

High TDS in waste water if i am not wrong you may be using lot of acidic chemical in your industry. There are some technologies which can reduce or recover dissolved salts from Htds waste water.
1. MEE
2. MEE followed by spray quench
3. HAG followed by spray quench
4. ZED C
5. Physico chemical treatment followed by HAG and spray quench.
Could you please give some more inputs from your end.
1. What type of industry (pharma, pesticide ,paper,.....etc)?
2. What quantity of waste water generate per day, which has high TDS?
3. What are the utilities are available in the industry?
4. The waste water charectoristics like PH,TDS,COD,TSS....Etc.
Sedimentation will definitely work for dissolved solids and I had publish one International paper on that as well, I am enclosing that paper herewith it will definitely help you.
I don't have concern with suspended solids, that can be removed using sedimentation. My main concern is dissolved solids, which is mainly due to high concentration of soluble ions like Na, Mg, Ca, Cl, SO4, Fe etc.

My suggestion would be first you go for sedimentation, this would reduce the dissolved solids then you go for chemical precipitation......
TDS removal

Yes, definitely. In sedimentation hydraulic flow speed is very less for effective sedimentation, even if waste water is in still condition after some time you will able to see scale formations and salts are deposited at the bottom.

Pl. post your full water analysis n then we can suggest. Just giving the TDS makes no technical sense.
Dear sir,
Only Evaporation method is treat for high TDS stream.

can we use any technology other than distillation/evaporation, crystallization for removal of such high TDS?
