Dear Ms Chithra,
Selection of plants depends on the salt tolerance of the plant. It is more important to assess the TDS and sodium content. Non-edible plants are preferred. Make sure that heavy metal and BOD are with in tolerance limits. However all plants common to the climate and soil can be irrigated.
Hi Rajesh,
As told by our friends, you can grow most of the vegetables with treated sewage. You might want to try addition of Magic-gro Plus, which is a researched biotech product for your plants.

You can build a fish pond and grow Diatom algae and these are good food for fish.
Diatoms increase the oxygen level and thus prevent any foul odor from the treated sewage.
The nutrients that remain in the treated sewage would be the source of food for Diatoms.
The fish pond would be sort of tertiary treatment and the water will be much more clean after this process.
Most of the vegetables grows well in sewage and most prominent are Cabbage, Cauliflower, Tomatos etc. however, if you are intrested, i have an idea for generation of fertilizer from sewage. you can use this fertilizer of every plant.
Thanks,
Bharat Lodha
