Indian Council of Social Science Research has granted a research project at National Institute of Disaster Management on 'Vulnerability Assessment and Mitigation Analysis for Drought Risk in Bundelkhand' for 20 months period. A Fellowship (RAship) is available starting from September, 2011 at NIDM New Delhi (under Dr Anil K Gupta and Sreeja S. Nair) at Rs. 10,500/- per month fellowship. Fellow will be advised/promoted to register for Ph.D. in a University. Qualification: PG degress in Environment/ Geography/ Agriculture or allied discipline. Flair in writing and data interpretation shall be desired. Exposure to GIS application and some knowledge on similar topic/subject may be added advantage. Fellow will also be associated with Indo-German international project ekDRM 2010-2012 activities for broad exposure and some contingecies may be supported from the ekDRM project.
