The purpose for organising the National Conference on Recent trends in Zoology is to provide a stage for dialogue and debate among all interested people to address significant ecological, economic, institutional and social issues related to animal sciences. The Conference also provides scope for discussions on advanced studies on faunal diversity, Environmental impact including toxicity on animals, Cell and molecular biology, interaction and research opportunities to students and researchers interested to work in the area of Zoology.

SYMPOSIA
Seven symposia are planned under selected themes. They are Aquatic Biology, Cytogenetics and Molecular biology, Neurobiology and Aging, Pigment Cell Biology, Toxicology and Pharmacology, Waste management and sustainable development, Biodiversity and Wildlife Biology. Each symposium will have invited talks and paper presentations.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers are invited for presentation, both oral and poster. All participants are requested to send the abstracts (not exceeding 250 words) and duly filled Registration form along with the registration fees. Participants are also requested to submit full paper to be published as conference proceedings. Specifications for making full length paper and poster will be intimated along with the confirmation letter.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The participants are requested to arrange travel assistance from their respective institutions/ agencies. Only in some special cases the organizers may provide financial assistance, provided funds become available in time.
ACCOMMODATION
Participants will be accommodated in University guest houses on the basis of first come and first served. Those who are interested to stay in Hotels in the city will have to pay the hotel charges in advance.
POST CONFERENCE FIELD TRIP
A field trip will be arranged to National Chambal Sanctuary or Madhav National Park on 15th March 2012 depending on the demand of the participants. Participation will be on payment basis.
