Job suggestions

Dear all


I am student of IIT kharagpur, pursing my M.Tech. in Land and Water resources engineering. My research is working on the Environmental and Natural resources management by Remote sensing and GIS.


So please suggest me jobs related to the research work.

    Dear Vijay
    Many NGOs working in area of NRM for rural India, seeks for GIS experts. Initially they might not be able to pay you very high but you can use your skills for better cause and can help in rural people in getting benefits from latest technical development.

    Dear Vijay, 

    I think if ur interested in job in research u must try for phD at FRI Dehradun. Also I think IIT KGP have a good campus, a lot of companies are coming u may try in them too..

    Also u may contact ur MTech guide too.

    Dear Vijay you can try for the jobs in EIA EMP consultancy as well as hydrology related consultants  especially for hydro projects, they require GIS-RS experts for estimation of environmental flows, dam break analysis, catchment area demarcation, water availability etc.

     i am interested in job after my M. Tech. degree.   i want to enter according to the pursuing my M. Tech. project in field of remote sensing and GIS application for Environmental and Natural resources management.

    One thing you need to clarify is that: you are interested in job after your M Tech degree or you are looking for your M Tech project work on the topic, you have mentioned.
