Welcome to this online survey by National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) of India in cooperation with University of Liverpool on the functioning of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in India and the UK. The purpose of the survey is to reflect on the experiences of professionals with EIA in the past and also to look ahead to the future role of EIA. In addition, the extent to which health issues have been accommodated within EIA is also explored. Considering your experience in EIA, we request you to kindly fill-up the questionnaire for which the link is provided below:

The survey consists of four parts:

1 First, some questions about your background will be asked;
2 Next, your opinion about the Indian EIA system will be established;

3 Then, the extent to which health has been accommodated within EIA in India is explored;

4 And finally, the survey concludes with a series of statements about the 'ideal' EIA system.

The first three parts of the survey is based on what your experiences of EIA are while the fourth part relates to what EIA should be like. The survey is anonymous and completing it will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Please note the ‘save’ option in the survey does not actually let you save and come back to the survey later. In order to participate in this survey please click the link below.
