Dear All,
The United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS),Japan, TERI and the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, cordially invite you to an International Conference on “Urban Development with Climate Co-Benefits: Aligning Climate, Environmental and Other Development Goals in Cities” on 9 December, 2013 in New Delhi, India.
This conference will focus on how we can identify and generate large urban co-benefits or positive impacts for integrating climate change with local sustainable development goals in cities. These co-benefits can help us understand how we make social and technological transitions that can promote more sustainable urban initiatives that cut across sectors and regions and lead to radical impacts on the way our societies use environmental resources and distribute their benefits. The conference will also focus on developing policies and instruments to boost the capacity of urban societies and achieving the local and global goals of sustainable development.
We request you to register for the conference here*: http://www.ias.unu.edu/event_registration_form.aspx?catID=8&ddlID=2861

Thanks Rozita for your reply. You may be aware NIDM-TERI cooperation on several initiatives on CCA issues for strengthening of DRR components, is my conviction.
My best wishes,
Regards
Anil

Thank you Mr. Anil. The topic of DRR and CCA is something we work on, and we do organise specific seminars and workshops on this, from time to time. Shall keep you updated for any future event on this topic.

I wish its success
It too late to think about this conference.
As Chitra Rajesh has written here, you may take interest to inform us about the outcome of its deliberations.
Can we get information presented in the conference later? This is a very useful subject for my career but would not be able to make it to the conference.
You may like to have a special panel discussion on 'Integrating DRR and CCA, and focus on Ecosystem based Approach" in the Conference.
My best wishes for the endeavour
