  • Hi

You can either approach the manufacturer of the equipment since they are mandated to ste up a collection mechansim to take back end of life equipment. Some of what you have listed (such as UPS, standalone cartridges) however is not in the scope of the e-waste Rules and hence producer is not mandated to arrange collection. But they may be having a voluntary program.

Alternatively you can channel it to an authorised recycler. There are some recycling facilities located in Taml Nadu itself and you may approach them. Sinceteh volume is less, you may need to check with the facility if they have a minimum volume requirement.

    Hope this helps.

  • Dear Yesodharan,

The materials contain toxic components. Legally, you are bound to transfer it to an agency authorized to handle e-wate (WEEE).
