Wetlands International South Asia, requires a GIS consultant for a period of
total 3 to 4 months per year for 3 years. It is a short term assignment and
total months of consultancy services required is about 11 months.
The service is needed for providing assistance to Gujarat Forest Department in
Gujarat Forestry Development Project implimented in Gujarat.The job chart would
include assisting Forest Department and Consultancy Unit in preparation of
project area maps. Assist in monitoring tools, Train forest staff in GIS and
GPS. Candidate would be expected to have minimum of 5 year expeience and willing
to conduct frequent field visits to the project areas in Gujarat and provide
time bound outputs.
