Position Field Officer Programme Communities for Conservation (Sloth bear campaign) Location Sambalpur, Orissa Job status Contractual Post One Gross compensation As per qualifications & experience Background: Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) is looking for a Field Officer for its ‘Sloth Bear Campaign’ project in Orissa. The incumbent will be required to organise awareness campaign activities among local villagers, coordinate with local authorities, conduct workshops and group meetings to facilitate the implementation of the project. This post requires extensive travelling. Job Responsibilities: On site implementation of the project Conduct workshops and group meetings Build relationships with local people, villagers Network with local NGOs, relevant Government Departments and media Report writing, day to day documentation Gather photos and video footage Skills: Excellent communication in Oriya, Hindi and English Familiarity with campaign tools Ability to live and work in interior rural areas Be able to organise people and provide leadership Budget management Qualifications: Preferably graduate, in any discipline.
