I wish to bank on the rich expertise within this group to learn about the various models in place for collection and management of e-waste in India (and elsewhere). More than the theoretical understanding I wish to gain from the practical experience one may have from their engagement in either setting up and managing any collection and management system. What are the key challenges one foresee in the successful implementation of the system? What financial model works best (and what does not work)? A comparative analysis of how one system looks against the other? What is the legal interpretation of the new ewaste Rules and how does these Rules relate to the earlier hazardous waste rules which also has e-waste as a category.
