I am shocked when i came to know about unique Eligibility criteria of Environment Engineer in Environment Audit team in Gujarat.
In Gujarat, Yearly Environmental Audit is being carried out Authorized Environment consultant (Schedule I & II) as per order published by Hon'l High Court of Gujarat in 1999.
There is no amendment till date in this order after 1999. As per This order, Only BE Civil (Environment as an Elective Subject) or BE Environment is only Eligible to perform as an Environment Engineer in Environment Audi team.
Till date, there is no Confusion to select Environment Engineer role in Environment team but Now a Days Authority has raised a query to Environment Consultant to Appoint only BE Civil or BE Environment professional as an Environment Engineer in Environment Audit team.
They are not accepting other Engineering back ground with Engineering Post Graduate in Environment Field as an Environment Engineer in Environment Audit team.
What to do if a person did BE Chemical and Engineering Post Graduation in Environment?
I think there should be revision in Hon'l High Court order about Eligibility of Environment Engineer in Environment Audit team. Also needs to published an interim order for Eligibility of Environment Engineer for Environment Audit by pollution Control Board and request to Hon'l High Court for Revision in their order which was published Earlier.
