Do you or your company write a environmental blog, has a company facebook address or a twitter feed on environment ? Would be great if you can list the link here and if possible a brief description so that our members can follow you.

We can also consider adding a  RSS feed directly to Indian Environment Network for our partners and Institutional members so that you can benefit from a wide audience to your feed.

Anyway, let's start listing and enjoy a collaborative future !

  • I run Eco WALK the Talk.com, an Asia focused environmental advocacy website. We cover various environmental issues and campaigns in the region. While we talk of systemic issues, we also feature individual and community changemakers, and give living tips for individual action.

Many thanks for asking Chandra! It would wonderful to connect with fellow bloggers, and if any of you would like to crosspost or write an article for the website, kindly get in touch with me at bhavani[at]ecowalkthetalk.com with the article or article idea.

  • I have started writing a blog on environmental matters :

    http://travailsofanenvironmentalengineer.blogspot.com/

These are stories, real for the most part, of experiences during three decades of working as an environmental engineer, travelling the length and breadth of India, setting up treatment plants, educating people, and generally having a fun time

This is a blog to create awareness among children about India's ecological traditions. The articles are written in the style of the Horrible Geography, History, Science series... The blog is linked to a website that offers nature stories, activities... downloadable free.

It was wisely noted by Albert Einstein that no problem can be solved at the very level it was created. Therefore, I intend to explore the deeply scientific roots of sustainability ethics in my blog- Beyond The Elements - a forum for expression of ideas, thoughts, connectivity, and paradigms that are helpful in solving the ecological and socio-economic crises which has built up in our society due to unethical practices. While entries and posts are sporadic, I hope you find the content substantial food for thought, and impetus for action. A media page, Ecotainment, is also included to offer information that relates directly to Beyond The Elements. Typical fare on this blog would speak of food, agriculture, Sanatana Dharma, and online petitions to solve problems actively... So stay tuned Beyond The Elements, because we're moving to Tumblr/ Wordpress sometime this Fall.. 8)

  • I do write occasionally on development and environmental issues. I am posting an article I wrote recently. Hope it is worth something.

This is one of the blogs which I write. Though it is comparatively new and I have posted only a few times but it is a pet project of mine. It is about the endemic and unique species of wildlife found in India-not only about our usual favorites like tiger and asiatic lion but also about many unknown species. Not only it gives me an opportunity to increase my own knowledge about such species and their conservation status, but it is also an effort to create and increase awareness about the numerous unknown, beautiful species of our country, about which not many of us might know.
