Desertification and loss of top soil is increasing in menancing proportion in our country due to soil erosion  loss of green cover torrential rains or long absensce of rain due to climatic change long dry periods heavy wind during summmer salinity due to use of excess fertilisers no crop rotation and many other reasons.

Though guidelines are available precicious little is done. The rate at which human foot print is increasing in our country this can cause huge problem by 2050.

  • IF WE INDIVIDUALLY PLANTED AND TAKE CARE TILL DATE  THAN IT WILL GIVE +VE RESULT FOR OUR FUTURE

  • It is disgusting that even today government has failed to initiate serious action regarding soil erosion and solid waste management .we have to speed up with these issues other wise the gap d/w growth, sanitation and environmental degradation will be too much to be in contril

  • There are solutions, but who will do?????

-Control Population with "We two, ours one concept" even in village population, initiate stringent action by Govt. for the deviators.

    - Control vehicular movements, adopt walking/cycling concept for nearer distances, provide bi-cycles to your kids, even to college going students, that will be beneficial to them only.

    -Don't waste FOOD anywhere.

-Save energy in terms of electricity, fuel, waste generation.

-Save water, promote rain water harvesting.

-Recycling of water through Sewage Treatment Plant in townships.

-Stop garbage disposal through burning. Generate energy from garbage.

-Save trees & Plant trees, Plantation is the ultimate solution.

Combined effort of all the activity would definitely help the nature to some extent from global warming, soil erosion etc....

    and

    IT SHOULD START FROM "ME"

  • It is alarming...certain plants such as Agave, Zazuba etc. prevents this. Attempts were made in certain States in India to plant them. But this is not taken up now. Must restart again...
