• Essential: Understanding of Laboratory Health, Safety & Environment Management systems. Require high proficiency in chemical management & auditing skills. Knowledge on Environment legal requirements.

• Qualifications:
  • Graduate – Science or Engineering with additional qualifications in Health, Safety & Environment.
  • The knowledge of ISO 140001 & OHSAS 18001 (LAC) shall be preferable

      Desirable Specialization: Health, Safety and Environment.

      Experience Profile :

• Minimum Years : 02; Maximum Years : 04

• Industry/ Sector: Laboratory / environmental background preferable
• Scope of job /Activities handled:

• Assist Business Manager to establish and maintain HSE Policies, Standards and Procedures for their specific application.
• Daily monitoring of workplace HSE compliance.
• Advise and Monitor for periodic health check up of lab staff
• Mock Drills
• Assist HSE Manager in trending and root-cause analysis of HSE incidents, corrective actions recommended and implemented.
• Manage HSE Data management and report preparation.
• Conduct HSE trainings, periodic audits and inspection.
• Promote HSE promotional activities.

      Brief Job Description:

• Assist Business Manager to establish and maintain HSE Policies, Standards, legal requirements and Procedures for their specific application with coordinating HSE Manager.
• Committed to the concept of zero accidents and HSE incidents and work effectively with others to achieve other HSE targets.
• Assist in trending and root-cause analysis of HSE incidents and (specially environmental) corrective actions recommended and implemented.
• Coordinate all HS & E audits conducting in the site as site HSE representative and implement recommended control measures, corrective & preventative actions.
• Conduct site HS & E audits and inspections are performed and monitor implementation of recommended corrective actions.
• Assist and coordinate in OHSAS Management programmes, Environmental projects, JSA, HAZAP study and HIRA process.
• Arranging and conduct periodic HSE Meeting and monitor action plan progress.
• Conduct HSE trainings and develop operation specified HSE training when required or needed.
• Manage all HSE data management applicable for the site.
• Promote HSE promotional activities.
• Ensure good coordination and regular update to HSE and Business Manager.
• Ensure effective communication at all levels; written and spoken word.
