ASSISTANT MANAGER - ENERGY GROUP
The proposed role is within the technical group of IT Power India, whose work orientation is in the Renewable Energy domain. The incumbent will be positioned in the Sustainable Energy Group of IT Power India, Pondicherry.
The major responsibilities include:
Renewable Energy Assessment and feasibility study.
Energy demand assessment and load management.
Renewable Energy System Design and Integration.
Data Handling - data research, field surveys, analysis of data.
Project Implementation – Installation, training, monitoring.
Project Reporting – Developing reports, presentations.
Project Management – Developing frameworks, schedules.
Applied Research & Development – Design/re-design, fabrication, testing.
Client Management – Interfacing with client, representation at workshops/ seminars.
Required Qualifications / Skills
The candidate must have a Masters degree in Engineering from a reputed institute specialized in the field of Renewable Energy Technologies like Solar, Wind, Hydro, Biomass, Bio-fuel, Municipality Solid Waste, Biogas, BIPV, Hybrid system and Energy efficiency.
Candidates having minimum 5 years of work experience, knowledge and exposure in several areas of renewable energy technologies will be given priority.
The candidate is expected to develop proposals to bid for projects, which will include identifying and coordinating to set-up an appropriate team to implement the project. Incumbent is also expected to develop business in areas of Renewable Energy with his exposure and expertise in the area, there by in future develop better scope in this field with limited guidance. Will be responsible for management of proposals and project assigned to him within the Energy Group and will inter alia involve development and co-ordination of proposals, development of reports and supporting documentation, participation in field missions and representing the company at workshops and seminars in the focal areas. Development of technical communications - reports, research papers, news items etc, on the company’s activities and areas of operation and presentations on the same to clients, meetings and conferences as required.
