Founder
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation invites applications for the first
round of Ravi Sankaran Fellowships. These fellowships are for
activities with a clear focus on biodiversity conservation.

The three types of activities funded are:
- study towards a Master's degree at a university outside India
- an internship at a conservation organisation, academic department or
government agency outside India
- small grants towards a conservation research or implementation
project in India

Application materials are now available; the deadline for receiving
completed applications for all three activities is 15 April 2010.

These fellowships have been instituted in the memory of Dr Ravi
Sankaran, who dedicated much of his life to finding innovative and
practical solutions to conservation problems.

More information on the fellowships is at http://www.ravisankaran.org
