ambient air quality monitoring

what should be "distance"between two ambient air quality stations?as per its applicable rules?If are is @ 500 Ha, then how much stations are required to sample ambient air thorugh HVS.?, particularly, when area is prone to fugitive dust.And, what should be frequency of monitoring?ideally,
