Dear Mr. Rajesh,
We have a solution. You can use a 100 kg Polycrack unit to process mixed waste including plastics. In the process, all the organic matter gets converted to combustible gas and carbon. Plastics get converted to oil, gas and carbon. The water content in the waste comes out as condensed water which can be re-used. The process time is 4 hours. The unit size is 1.5 mtrs x 1.5 mtrs x 2 mtrs. System will run on electricity. The gas recovered being a high calorific value combustible gas, the same can be connected to a gas fuelled generator and powercan be produced. This is a zero discharge, same day process. We celebrated world environment day of this year as food safety year.Almost all the premier institutions in India are working on the Methods to manage food waste.
100 kg per day is a huge amount of waste to handle, But due to its highly degradable nature it can be used as asset for huge amount of methane (Bio-gas) generation. Bio-gas production from organic waste material is a proven method to extract wealth from waste. for this amount of food waste you can go for single stage bio-reactor or bi-phasic reactors available in market.
NEERI is doing quite good work in this field, with their waste to energy projects. For any kind of consultancy you can contact them for help.
