I am a PhD Scholar at the Centre for Urban Science and Engineering (CUSE), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, where his research focuses on developing geospatial methods and tools for synergizing the anthropogenic development and natural ecosystem in coastal cities. Before this role, he worked for two years as senior project fellow at Physical Oceanography Division, CSIR - National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa, India.
He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and his research interest includes the application of GIS and decision science for coastal resource management.
Ravinder has published few scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He also has project experience in the area of watershed management, shoreline change analysis and coastal processes along the Indian coast.
