- M.Sc (Tech) in Geophysics, Ph.D in Geology, Initial career in groundwater exploration and management studies. Shifted to natural resource assessment, management and their environmental appraisal. Had worked for Bharath Gyan Vigyan Samithi, New Delhi and Dept. of Science, Technology & Environment, Govt. of Kerala. Has been heading the Envionmental Sciences Division of Centre for Earth Science Studies, Akkulam, Trivandrum. Major activites are Environmental Impact Assessment, Carrying Capacity based Development Planning, Environmental Evaluation & Management Planning, and Natural Resource Management. Since 2002, active role in waste management activities in the State of Kerala in formulating strategy, action plans and their implementation.
