Indian Environment Network welcomes Green Electronics Council, USA as its newest Diamond Institutional Member. GEC's primary project is EPEAT, the definitive environmental rating system for electronics, which enables purchasers to identify and select 'greener' PCs, monitors, printers, copiers, TVs and more. EPEAT currently covers 42 countries - in April 2014 India will become the 43rd covered country.
