Online Stack Emissions and Effluent Monitoring

Dear Friends,

Many of you might be aware that CPCB has instructed all 17 categories of industries to install online monitoring of emissions before 31st March 2015. We have received Guidelines for Effluent Monitoring issued by the Board on 7th November 2014. These guidelines are very clear and have helped us a lot. However, have any guidelines been issued by CPCB regarding sack monitoring also? Please provide those guidelines if any of you have access to the same.

    Many of you might be facing problem in finding equipment for online effluent for BOD/COD. There is one instrument from Hanna Instruments which measures online DO and internally estimates/calculates into BOD. You may get details form their Khargahar, Navi Mumbai office Tel.
