Mishimi teeta is so named because it grows on Mishimi hills and bitter in taste. Its root is highly medicinal and with various combinations it can cure almost any disease. Folk Doctors of North Eastern India uses it in many form. Botanically known as Coptis teeta, it grows wild and can not be grown. It grows only where thers is snow fall. After its virtues are known it is over harvested. It is now being exported too. We must try to save and find way to grow. My article on this her is attached.

  • sir, I work in NMDC Ltd., which explores iron ore from Bailadila Bastar region of Chatthisgrah where we have tree fern belongs to Dinosaur era wen it was identified the forest department has taken up the works and protected the total area through fencing and declared and protected area. Similarly i think you should bring to the notice of Forest Department if they don't take up give me details ill forward to MoEF for necessary action.
