    Hi

My name is Amit Pathak.  I am an Environmental Engineer working for California Environmental Protection Agency involved with contaminated soil and groundwater investigation/cleanup.  If someone or companies want to exchange ideas or discuss how it is being done here in US, I will be happy to help.  If I can't do it I will find right people/companies here.  This can be done online without any travel involved.  Thanks.

  • Good Morning Mr. Kishore,

Though I don't have too many inputs on this network, but look into the discussions and messages on a regular basis. Keep-up the good work. As far as the environmental training is concerned, my suggestion would be make it a specific and specialized training, such as, industrial (pollution management (air, water, hazardous waste, biomedical waste, etc.), compliance training, health and safety training; commercial non-industrial SHE training specific to line-of-activity, etc. I have expertise in industrial EMS and Health and Safety(over 10 years of OSHA Certified training from USA) and have given few training to my client's on Health and Safety and continuously providing EMS including regulatory monitoring. The field is vast. Need to be more specific, otherwise will not get right training.

    Good luck.

  • Dear Chandra Kishore,

Thank you for the message on the list of environmental trainers in India.  Since you know about our organization FRSD engaged in conserving biodiversity and environment in the Western Ghats, you may like to add our conservation organization "FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (FRSD) Madurai, Tamilnadu, India. FRSD is devoted to the preservation of the natural diversity of plant and animal species, and their habitats, through prevention of environmental degradation and destruction. FRSD develops and implements projects through conservation education, action oriented programmes for preventing climate change and preserving our valuable plant and animal species and their natural habitats. Our organization has been exploring community-based approaches to natural resources management and we strongly believe in Endogenous Development.

We train NGOs on environmental education, traditional water purification technologies, invasive alien species and protection of endangered species in the Western Ghats range of mountains in southern districts of Tamilnadu, India.  You may like to link our website: www.frsd.webs.com

    Thank you

    Yours sincerely

    S.P. Anandan
