I am pursuing my M.tech in Environmental Biotechnology from Jadavpur University. I have done my B.tech in Biotechnology. Can anyone suggest the job opportunities after my M.tech and in which sector or company should I apply to.
My course include:

Thank you Sir
As in my previous reply, bachelors specialisation is most important, while masters only helps to narrow our area of interest. hence the demand for engineering UGs combined with PGs in industrial specialisation are most wanted. Waste water treatment related to biological/biotechnical aspects such as bioremediation are more suited rather then waste water engineering. EIA also you can give a try as engineerign aspects are not major requirement. Though i am primarily from research background, i can say that environmental consultancies with profiling in bioremediation and EIA would be best for you.
hi vishnu sir
I am also from B.Tech biotech background and M.Tech environmental and i am very much interested in waste water treatment sector. But I dont know how to approach as a fresher.Every company is asking for B.Tech civil background .Please suggest me some company name. That would be so kind of you

vishnu nikkam: thank you so much
hi,
As your basic degree seems to be biotech, with specialisation in environment at masters, it would be ideal to apply for oppurtunities in sectors related to wastewater treatment and bioremediation as this ector offers the maximum scope if you want to pursue a career related to your main area.
