Environmental Clearance

Dear Sirs,
Can any guide me regarding the change in Environmental Clearance Condition if CPP is changed to IPP.Only Supply of Coal is changed through Coal Linkage or e-auction or by both? Should i apply for fresh EC or old EC may be modified?

    Considering change in ownership and no change in fuel consumption i.e. coal quantity, I think you have to apply for EC-Amendment (Old EC) as well as new EC (if applicable), as your Captive Power Plant is been converted into Independent Power Producer.

    All suggestions are welcome.

    Well! then there is no need to obtain fresh EC.

    Dear Sir,

    No change in technology is planned. Only CPP is being converted to IPP.

    Dear Sir,

    As per EIA notification-2006, there is provision for fresh EC in case of modification in technology. First page of the same is enclosed herewith for your ready reference.
